The Dodgers wasted no time in locking up pitcher Ted Lilly to a three year extension, a deal that will be finalized by early next week. Lilly was lights out for the Dodgers after being traded from the Cubs this past season, posting a 7-4 record with a 3.52 ERA in his final 12 starts.

Lilly was arguably the best pitcher on the Cubs over his time with the team, posting a career high in wins in 2008 with 17, and a career best 3.10 ERA in 2009.

The details of the deal have yet to be released, but sources believe the three year deal will be in the range of 9-11 million dollars annually.
