The Third Base market just got a little smaller this offseason.
The Detroit Tigers and third baseman Brandon Inge agreed to terms on a new 2-year deal which will pay the longest tenured Tiger 5.5 million annually which includes a 2013 option.
Inge, 33 was in the final year of his contract with Detroit and would have hit free agency. Inge was marked as the second best third baseman on the market next to Adrian Beltre of the Red Sox of those clubs looking for third base help.
