The Brewers have officially named former Angels bench coach Ron Roenicke as their next manager, according to MLB.com. Roenicke has been with the Angels for the past five seasons, but has been a coach since the early 1990s.
Roenicke has been considered for a handful of jobs around the league but never landed a managerial gig until now.
The deal is a two year deal with a club option for a third season.
