Dodgers And Outfielder Gibbons Agree To One-Year Deal

According to the Associated Press (through the Baltimore Sun), the Los Angeles Dodgers and outfielder Jay Gibbons have agreed on a one-year deal for the league minimum of 400K.

Gibbons joined the Dodgers in August this season after he was brought up from triple-A Albuquerque.  In his time in the majors last season, Gibbons hit .280 with 5 Homers and 17 RBIs in 37 games for the Dodgers.

Last season marked Gibbons' first season in the majors since 2007 when he was suspended for 15 games after his name appeared on the Mitchell report.
