First off, greetings from Mexico! I hope everyone enjoys the holidays from wherever they are celebrating. All right, back to the reason we're here...
The Athletics brought back the golden boy from the middle 00's in signing Rich Harden to a one year deal worth 1.5 million dollars. Harden had abysmal year with the Rangers posting a 5.58 ERA in 20 appearances. He went 9-9 with the Cubs last season and posted a 4.09 ERA.
Harden has always been associated with an ace quality pitcher, it is just a matter of him staying healthy. His best year with the Athletics came in 2005 when he posted a 10-5 record and a 2.53 ERA in 23 appearances.
Now, the veteran right-hander will help anchor the bottom of that young rotation.
