The Reds have interest in free agent outfielder Scott Podsednik, according to FOXSports.com. Podsednik hit .297 last season with 6 home runs and a .333 on-base percentage in 134 games between the Royals and Dodgers last season. Podsednik has been very consistent with over the past two seasons and he has proved his value as a potential everyday starter.
Podsednik has speed to burn, having stolen 35 bases this past season and 30 the year before. That kind of threat at the top of the order will do wonders for any team.
The Angels are also believed to have some interest, as our the Rays who have only recently entered the race.
