Orioles replace David Stockstill as Farm Director

The Orioles are turning over some front office positions, starting with Farm Director David Stockstill, who will move into another position within the organization. His brother, who is the teams director for international scouting, will assume his responsibilities.

However, assistant farm director Tripp Norton and field coordinator Brian Graham will also have expanded roles in the front office.

The Orioles will portray the change in a positive light, one source said, but club officials had grown increasingly frustrated with David Stockstill’s communication skills and approach to player development.

Some of the younger Orioles are starting to emerge with the parent club, namely Brian Matusz and Matt Wieters, with guys like Josh Bell, Chris Tillman, and others coming along the way.
