CBSSports.com Fantasy League Update - Player Trends

The MLB Daily Dish CBSSports.com Commissioner League is off to a great start, with a six-way tie for first place! All right, it is still early, but it is pretty intense. Take a look at some trends from all of CBSSports.com Fantasy Leagues, one of the many features included in the CBSSports.com package:

Here is a list of the "Most Added Players" in the past week:

1. [Rejuvinated] Carlos Silva, SP, Cubs - Silva owns a 0.95 ERA and will make his fourth start of the season tonight against the Nationals. Everyone in Chicago is hoping for the best and will ride the Silva train as long as Silva is willing to go!

2. Ty Wigginton, 2B, Orioles - Wigginton is hitting an impressive .327 with a .410 on-base percentage and 6 home runs with 9 strike outs to 6 walks. He is getting on base, but the Orioles are doing a piss-poor job of driving him in.

3. Justin Smoak, 1B, Texas - Everyone seems to be really high on Justin Smoak, who at just 23, could potentially take over full-time at first base. He hasn't recorded his first hit yet, but once he gets into a groove.... well, let's just say, the best has yet to come.

4. Mike Pelfrey, SP, Mets - Pelfrey is 4-0 with a 0.69 ERA in 5 appearances this season, striking out 19 to 13 walks. He has been the beneficiary of some pretty timely fielding, but some pitchers can ride timely fielding all season long.

5. Marlon Byrd, OF, Cubs - Byrd owns a .338 batting average and has belted 3 home runs in 71 at-bats this season, helping Cubs fans forget about Milton Bradley. Byrd should benefit from being in the Cubs lineup and it is showing in early April.

Here is a list of the "Most Traded Players" from the past week:

1. Jon Lester, SP, Red Sox

2. Carlos Lee, OF, Astros

3. Jake Peavy, SP, White Sox

4. Mark Teixeiera, 1B, Yankees

5. Justin Verlander, SP, Tigers
