The Orioles fired manager Dave Trembley on Friday after the team posted a 15-39 record to start the season. The team is already 21.0 games back and is showing no signs of turning around. The Orioles announced third base coach Juan Samuel was appointed to interim manager.

Nothing has gone well for the Orioles so far this season, both on the offensive and pitching fronts. Top pitching prospect Brian Matusz owns a plus-5.00 ERA and a 2-6 record. It is possible the team could invest in Chris Tillman and shop Matusz in a big deal for a big name bat like Adrian Gonzalez.
