The Chicago White Sox have traded pitcher Dan Hudson and prospect pitcher David Holmberg to the Diamondbacks in return for Edwin Jackson. Jackson may be shipped to the Nationals in a deal for Adam Dunn, but that is not known for sure yet.
Jackson, who pitched a no-hitter earlier this season, is 6-10 with a 5.16 ERA this season. This is Jackson's 4th team in the last 6 years, as he also pitched for the Dodgers, Rays, Tigers, and Diamondbacks.
Hudson is 1-1 with a 6.32 ERA this season, while Holmberg, a 2nd round pick last year, is 1-1 with a 4.46 ERA on the season.
