White Sox infielder Omar Vizquel told the Chicago Sun-Times that he would like to play next season. Vizquel is having a great season for the White Sox this season, hitting .289 in 232 at-bats, his highest average since 2006.
For the White Sox, it will probably come down to whether or not they will offer him a major league guaranteed contract. If they don't, it is possible Vizquel will be forced into signing another minor league contract.
He will be 44 next season.
