Texas Rangers eye more starting pitching

Since missing out on Cliff Lee, the Rangers have scoured the market for starting pitching. They talked about a Matt Garza deal before he was sent to the Cubs, and were in contact with the Royals about Zack Greinke before he was dealt to the Milwaukee Brewers.

On the free agent market, free agents Chris Young, a former Ranger, and Justin Duchscherer are available and looking for work. The Yankees are expected to pursue Duchscherer, but the Rangers have something the mid-market venue where there every move is under a microscope, like it would be in New York. They could even contact Andy Pettitte, who has opted to sit out the beginning of the season.

Not many pitchers are available through trade right now, and the Rangers also need to find another bat, or be faced with a combination of Mitch Moreland, David Murphy, and Michael Young at DH and first base, which is not the worst scenario but an offensive force would be nice.

Any suggestions for who the Rangers should get?
