Thayer elects free agency - Mets Blog - ESPN New York
Dale Thayer, who was removed from the Mets’ 40-man roster, has elected free agency, a source told ESPN’s Adam Rubin.

Indians should pick up Sizemore's option -
"I think they should take a gamble and pick up Sizemore's option. It isn't like they are committing to him over several years. If it turns out to be a bad decision, it will be wiped from the books after next year. Who knows? Maybe he'll put up decent enough stats to be a Type B free agent after next season so they can at least get something if he leaves."

Key Dodgers bankruptcy hearing postponed one month -
The Bankruptcy Court showdown between Frank McCourt and Bud Selig has been postponed by a month, according to an order issued Wednesday by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross.
