Jose Reyes Rumors: Reyes and Marlins don't have a deal yet

Jose Reyes rumors are out and about at the moment, as there have been unconfirmed reports that he has signed with the Miami Marlins. According to Scott Miller of CBS Sports, however, these reports are false:

No, Reyes and the Marlins do not have a deal. Any other report is untrue. I've talked to people who know. Go back to football.

In addition, Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post has reported that Reyes is not a Miami Marlin:

#Marlins source tells me Jose Reyes is NOT a Miami Marlin

Reyes, 28, is one of the top free agents on the market, and will likely receive a very lucrative contract this offseason. Just a couple days ago, the Marlins made offers to Reyes, Albert Pujols, and Mark Buehrle.

Reyes hit .337/.384/.493 this season, leading the National League in batting average and earning his fourth career all-star nod. He also stole 39 bases and hit 16 triples, showing that he's still got speed on the basepaths. We'll continue to keep you posted on the Reyes/Marlins rumors.
