"The Rangers have out-righted pitchers Omar Beltre, Merkin Valdez and Eric Hurley off the 40-man. They have also out-righted infielders Andres Blanco and Esteban German." -
Luis Rodriguez outrighted by Mariners, becomes free agent - MLB.com
"Veteran utility infielder Luis Rodriguez, who had three game-winning at-bats for the Mariners this past season, was outrighted on Tuesday and opted to become a free agent." -
A's reinstate six from DL, designate reliever Trystan Magnuson - MLB.com
"By reinstating six players from the 60-day disabled list on Wednesday, the A's were forced to designate right-hander Trystan Magnuson for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster. In addition to Magnuson, who missed the final two months of the season with right shoulder tendinitis, the A's also reinstated lefties Brett Anderson and Dallas Braden, right-handers Joey Devine and Evan Scribner and first baseman Daric Barton from the DL."
