Jordan Bastian from MLB.com says that the Cleveland Indians are not entirely out on Josh Willingham like it was reported earlier today. Earlier today it had been announced that the Indians and Cincinnati Reds were out on him and the Minnesota Twins were the front runners to acquire the Oakland A's outfielder.
The Colorado Rockies and Tampa Bay Rays were also reported out on his services earlier today. The Indians had been the favorites before they were reported out, and now with them back in it, they could overtake the Twins potentially.
We know that Willingham will make his decision either tonight or tomorrow. Most of the teams who are out on him or will be out on him will shift their focus to fellow free agent corner outfielder Michael Cuddyer.
Stay tuned to MLB Daily Dish throughout the next 24-48 hours as we find out where Willingham will land, how it affects the teams, Cuddyer, and the rest of the league.
