Andrew Bailey Rumors: Red Sox, Rangers Likely Destinations

After trading starting pitchers Gio Gonzalez and Trevor Cahill out of the American League, the Oakland Athletics continue to be the most active team shopping their players. The next A's player that appears likely to be moved, is their closer Andrew Bailey.

According to ESPN's Buster Olney, Andrew Bailey is likely to be traded to one of two teams -- either the Boston Red Sox or the Texas Rangers. Both teams are interested in Bailey and have the prospects to get a deal done.

Perhaps the Boston Red Sox are the ones in the lead, as the two teams had talks regarding Gio Gonzalez when he was on the trade market. They also have more of a pressing need for Bailey than the Rangers do.
