As the Winter Meetings get underway, it's become apparent that the Giants won't be big spenders. Jose Reyes and Jimmy Rollins have long been out of the picture, and even Carlos Beltran seems unlikely to re-sign with San Francisco. As of now, the Giants are likely focused on addressing one thing: retaining their pitching. That means negotiating long-term deals with Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain.
