New York Yankees Rumors: Garcia, Kuroda, Wilson

The New York Yankees have not been the big spenders this off season, let's take a look at what is going on in Yankee Land.

  • Buster Olney reported this a while ago, but the Yankees and Freddy Garcia have agreed on a one year contact. Garcia was a surprise for the Yankees last season, and they try to catch lightning in a bottle again.
  • Jon Heyman from MLB Network says that while the Yankees are very interested in free agent pitcher Hiroki Kuroda, they have not made him any offers yet.
  • Bob Kalpisch from the Bergen Herald says that the Yankees had a chance to get C.J. Wilson to sign in New York, but they passed on the final opportunity.
  • Pinstripe Alley, the SBNation Yankees blog, had a roundtable discussion with all of their writers about how they feel on certain issues with the Yankees.
  • Mike Axisa from YES Network says that the Yankees have released outfielder Greg Golson yesterday.
