Longtime MLB umpire Jerry Crawford retires

Longtime MLB umpire Jerry Crawford retires after 34 professional seasons, according to FOXSports.com. Crawford, who came in the league in 1977, has umped a major league record eleven League Championships, along with five World Series, and two All-Star games.

Crawford announced his retirement at the end of the season citing health concerns. No word yet on who his replacement will be.
