While it is still very early in the season, Athletics pitcher Trevor Cahill is dealing thus far, compiling a 6-0 record with a 1.72 ERA and 45 strike outs. His WHIP is right on par with his 2010 total and he is already way ahead of his pace from last season. But the A's are still one game back from the Angels, despite a two game winning streak.
The standings from this time last season do portray the future fairly well, having the teams that made the playoffs in fairly good position (The Giants were 0.5 games back, Texas in first).
Cahill is currently tied for the league lead with six wins.
