Lots of chatter on the mill today. Here's a bit for you to start...

  • Chris Leroux who was called up today was mistakenly said to be released, as Colin Dunlap of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette tweeted earlier. Following that, Dunlap tweets that Leroux said he received 25 or so calls/texts with condolences from those who thought he was actually released.
  • After being asked about a potential call up of Dustin Ackley by a reader on Twitter, MLB.com's Greg Johns tweets that he should be called up within a few weeks.
  • According to Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star, Nathan Adcock will be making his first career start Saturday against the Cardinals. The righty has been used in relief all of this year and was primarily used as a starter in the minors with the Pirates before he was a Rule 5 selection by the Royals this past year.
