According to Tim Brown of Yahoo, the Red Sox have signed Kevin Millwood to a Minor League Deal.
After opting out of his deal with the Yankees last week, Millwood was said to have drawn interest from several teams, the Red Sox of course being one of them. The 36-year old has spent 14 seasons playing for the Braves, Orioles, Rangers, Indians, and Phillies having also spent time in the Yankees system for the brief 2011 start to the season. He's 159-137 in those 14 years and is the third winningest pitcher among active Major Leaguers.
