In his latest column, FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi says that Mike Pelfrey is probably the easiest bet of the "tradeable" Mets players to call. Meaning, he thinks it's a fairly certain that Big Pelf will remain in Queens past the July 31st trade deadline.

More from Morosi...

  • Morosi says that the A's, Tigers, Yankees, and Angels could be fits for Carlos Beltran but ultimately says that the outfielder will be wearing Yankee pinstripes on August 1st.
  • Morosi thinks that Jose Reyes will be traded to the Reds, which is interesting because it seems that the Reds like having Paul Janish man the shortstop position. However, Reyes would be a clear upgrade there.
  • Morosi says teams like the Red Sox and Tigers make sense for Francisco Rodriguez but thinks the Rangers are the team that will eventually trade for the right-hander.
