According to Jon Heyman, Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez has been traded to the Milwaukee Brewers along with cash for two players to be named later.

Rodriguez has appeared in 42 games this year, posting a 3.16 ERA along with a 2.88 K/BB ratio.

Ken Rosenthal tweets that the Mets did not need K-Rod's approval for the trade, as the Brewers are not one of the teams he can block. Sources are saying that the Mets will receive two players who are currently in the minors.
