Diamondbacks Release Aaron Heilman, Recall Barry Enright

According to Jack Magruder of FOX Sports Arizona, the Diamondbacks released RHP Aaron Heilman. Heilman, age 32, signed a one-year $2MM contract with Arizona this winter. In 32 appearances, he compiled a 6.88 ERA and gave up eight home runs.

RHP Barry Enright, who was sent down to Triple-A back in May after struggling, has been recalled. In twelve starts at Triple-A Reno, Enright tossed 71.1 innings with a 4.29 ERA. Enright, who starts today against the Milwaukee Brewerswill slide back into the Dbacks rotation, with Zach Duke headed to the bullpen.
