According to Jon Morosi, the Marlins have acquired OF Mike Cameron and cash from the Red Sox in exchange for a player to be named later or cash.

Cameron, who is on the second year of a two-year $15.5MM deal he signed with the Red Sox back in 2010, was designated for assignment several days ago. He's struggled during his time in Boston, managing just a .219/.285/.352 line over 285 plate appearances.
