There have been plenty of minor transactions made in the past few days which have gone uncharted on MLB Daily Dish. We'll do our best to turn this into an amenity for the site; Let's get started by catching up on the past two days of transactions (most recent moves on top):
- The New York Yankees designated catcher Gustavo Molina for assignment, as first reported by Mark Feinsand of the NY Daily News. Molina, 29, was hitting .239/.273/.310 in 152 plate appearances for the Yankees Triple-A affiliate.
- The Baltimore Orioles assigned right-handed reliever Luis Lebron outright to Class A Short-Season Aberdeen, as first reported by MASN's Steve Melewski.
- The Boston Red Sox have designated left-handed pitcher Randy Williams for assignment, according to Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo.
- The Houston Astros released right-handed starting pitcher Nelson Figueroa, reports Steve Campbell of the Houston Chronicle. Figueroa's release means 5 players from Astros' opening day active roster are no longer in the organization, notes Houston Chronicle's Zachary Levine.
