Let's keep track of the latest minor moves here:

  • The Baltimore Orioles assigned outfielder Felix Pie outright to Class Triple-A Norwalk after clearing waivers, according to MASN's Roch Kubatko. The 25-year-old Pie was designated for assignment Tuesday.  Pie can refuse the assignment to become a free agent, but the outfielder would then forfeit the remainder of his salary with the Orioles.
  • The Toronto Blue Jays signed undrafted first baseman Luke Willson from LaSalle, Ontario, the team announced. The 21-year-old Willson currently attends Rice University, where he also plays tight end for Rice's football team.

  • The St. Louis Cardinals purchased the contract of shortstop Vance Albitz from the Lincoln Saltdogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, the Lincoln Saltdogs announced. Albitz was assigned to Short-Season A Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League. He becomes the fifth Lincoln player to be picked up by a Major League Baseball organization this season.
