The Cleveland Indians have signed right-handed pitcher Robinson Tejeda to a minor league contract, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com via twitter. Bastian adds that Durbin's Major League deal from a year ago was widely seen as a bad move, and Tejeda is less risky and adds a bit of insurance.
Cleveland's bullpen now stands as Chris Perez, Tony Sipp, Vinnie Pestano, Rafael Perez, Joe Smith, and Frank Herrman. Tejeda will be a non-roster invite:
