The Arizona Diamondbacks have avoided aribtration with Miguel Montero and Ryan Roberts, according to the team and industry sources. Miguel Montero agreed to his deal "moments before [the] arb hearing]" and he stands to make $5.9 million in 2012, according to Steve Gilbert of mlb.com. Ryan Roberts agreed to a 1-year contract worth $2.0125 million, according to his agency.
The only remaining arbitration-eligible player yet unsigned by the Diamondbacks is left-handed pitcher Craig Breslow, Gilbert adds:
