Cleveland Indians general manager Chris Antonetti would not rule out the chance of veteran players Travis Hafner, Grady Sizemore and Shin-Soo Choo all returning with the club next season, reports Jordan Bastian of MLB.com:

Antonetti said that he would be willing to bring back Hafner and Sizemore on reduced deals. Each long-time Indians’ player will hit the free agent market this winter.

Sizemore re-signed with the Indians this offseason only to miss the entire year due to lingering knee and back injuries. He made $5 million last season and hit .224/.285/.422 over 268 at-bats in 2011. Over eight seasons he owns a career line of .269/.357/.473.

Hafner was able to play this season, but injuries limited him to 66 games and 219 at-bats, over which he hit .228/.346/.438 with six doubles and 12 home runs. The 35-year-old’ contract includes a $13 million team option for the 2013 season, which the Indians will decline, resulting in a buyout of $2.75 million.

While trade rumors have swirled around Choo for the past few seasons, Antonetti said he anticipates having the outfielder back with the club for 2013. The 30-year-old bounced back from a disappointing 2011 campaign this year, hitting .283/.373/.441 with 43 doubles and 16 home runs.
