Marlins may still restructure front office

Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria is still mulling over the possibility of rearranging the club's front office personnel, including manager Ozzie Guillen, reports Joe Frisaro of MLB.com:

There is growing speculation that Guillen will be dismissed, but that decision hasn’t been made. There is a very strong chance Guillen returns. What could change is the chain of command in the front office. Roles for those already on staff may be different.

Right now, everything is on the table.

Things have mostly been quiet in Miami since a flurry of rumors emerged last month about the fates of Guillen, baseball operations president Larry Beinfest and general manager Michael Hill. No front office moves were made as the team plodded its way to a second consecutive NL East last place finish, but that could change relatively soon.

An ultimate decision on the structure of the team's front office is expected to come during the Marlins' organizational meetings later this month.
