The Texas Rangers are still interested in Toronto Blue Jays catchers, specifically J.P. Arencibia and John Buck, reports Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com:
Indications out of Texas are that while Rangers have obvious interest in Arencibia they also have interest in John Buck. #BlueJays

The Rangers have been rumored to be targeting Toronto’s catching since well before the club made their blockbuster deal last week, but the acquisition of the veteran Buck may have piqued Texas’ interest further.
Toronto currently has four catchers on their 40-man roster, but is unlikely to move into the season with more than three. Arencibia and Buck are the most likely trade candidates, as top prospect Travis d'Arnaud would require a large return and waiver pick-up Bobby Wilson does not have much trade value.
The Rangers could re-sign Mike Napoli and tender a contract to Geovany Soto if they are unable to pick up a catcher via trade or free agency, but the club will likely let both players sign elsewhere.
