Left-hander Scott Kazmir is back pitching in the Caribbean winter league and is being scouted by several clubs, reports Buster Olney of ESPN:
Scott Kazmir's second start in winter ball wasn't as good as his first start. mlb.mlb.com/milb/stats/sta… He's being scouted by multiple teams.

Kazmir, still just 28, has been out of professional baseball since the first week of the 2011 season, when he was released by the Los Angeles Angels with $12 million remaining on his contract.
Never one to avoid walks even at his best, the two-time All-Star and 2007 AL strikeout champion completely lost control of the strike zone during the 2010 season. Paired with a new inability to strike batters out, Kazmir became completely ineffective, posting a 6.17 ERA in his final 29 starts for the Angels.
Kazmir spent the 2012 season playing for the independent Sugar Land Skeeters, where he posted a 5.34 earned-run average and 4.6 walks per nine in 14 starts.
