As Ken Davidoff of the New York Post tweets, Wright said the following.

To sum the whole saga up, here is what has happened.
- Wright was reportedly low-balled with a 6-year $100 million dollar offer
- The Mets and Wright worked up to around an 8-year $140 million extension
- Wright said all of this was not true
- Wright said he won't talk about it anymore
Wright's 7-year contract will expire after the 2013 season.
