There are at least a half-dozen teams interested in free agent infielder/outfielder Ryan Raburn, and the Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins, Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers "appear to head that list," reports Jayson Stark of ESPN:

After spending his entire professional career with the Detroit Tigers, Raburn was released by the club on Nov. 20. He experience by far the worst season of his career last year, hitting a paltry .171/.226/.254 with 14 doubles and one home run over 205 at-bats.

Raburn has played all over the field since debuting with the Tigers in 2004. Last season he manned left and right field as well as second base, and the 31-year-old has also played center field and first and third base.

His versatility in the field coupled with the fact that he’s been a productive hitter at the major league level are why Raburn’s drawing interest from at least six teams at this point. From 2009-10 he hit .285/.348/.498 with 36 doubles, three triples and 31 home runs over 632 at-bats.

Over seven seasons at the major league level Raburn owns a career line of .256/.311/.430.
