The Los Angeles Dodgers don’t currently appear to be in on free agent corner infielder Kevin Youkilis, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, while LA could target free agents Anibal Sanchez and Kyle Lohse even after signing Zack Greinke and Ryu Hyun-jin:
#dodgers will consider a ss or 3b. don't appear in on Youk. at the moment, anyway. (but dont rule out anything for LAD)

no matter what happens with Ryu & dodgers today at deadline, dont be surprised if dodgers pursue anibal or lohse, too.

Heyman notes that the Dodgers are willing to consider an addition at third base or shortstop this winter. The club has Hanley Ramirez on the roster, and the veteran can man either position. Entering the offseason LA said they were planning on using Ramirez at short which would open up the hot corner.
The Dodgers have Luis Cruz under contract for 2013, and he hit .297/.322/.431 over 283 at-bats last season. Some believe he’s an option to be the everyday player at third base next year, but others aren’t quite as convinced. Despite being 28, Cruz has only been in the majors for parts of four seasons, over which he’s only registered 437 at-bats.
