UPDATE - 5:00PM EDT: Sounds like the Rangers are out, according to TR Sullivan and Ken Rosenthal:
Rangers not involved in RA Dickey trrade talks
— TR Sullivan (@Sullivan_Ranger) December 14, 2012
Source: #Rangers no longer involved in Dickey talks. And did not offer Olt and Buckel to #Mets.
— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) December 14, 2012
UPDATE - 4:49PM EDT: More offers, denials are lining up:
Really believe Toronto is strong frontrunner, but can report Texas has indicated will trade Olt and RHP Cody Buckel for Dickey.

Bo McKinnis agent for RADickey just told me that he is not working on an extension w BlueJays or anyone else that would be holding up a deal

Arencibia and gose were mentioned in dickey trade talk. Would be realistic package if that's it. #jays #mets

UPDATE - 3:04 PM EDT - The Angels and Toronto Blue Jays are two of the teams interested in Dickey, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Joel Sherman of the New York Post hears Blue Jays are a team to "watch." The Baltimore Orioles are also "serious players," according to Andy Martino of the New York Daily News.
ORIGINAL - All signs point to the New York Mets trading right-hander R.A. Dickey this winter, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports:
All signs point to #Mets trading Dickey. Little progress with extension, 1 yr./$5M looks more attractive by the day. #Rangers still in mix.
— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) December 14, 2012
Rosenthal notes that Dickey’s mere $5 million salary for the 2013 season is looking "more attractive by the day." The Mets have recently increased their offer to two years and into the $20 million range.
The Texas Rangers have been one of the teams tied to Dickey, as have their American League West rivals the Los Angeles Angels.
Considering the Rangers have missed out on Josh Hamilton and Zack Greinke and also have to deal with the loss of Mike Napoli, Texas could become aggressive as the New Year approaches. Considering the lack of talent remaining on the free agent market the Rangers may look to acquire impact players via trade.
With the addition of Hamilton, the Angels may have a few players would now appear to be more expendable. Center fielder Peter Bourjos would certainly fit that bill, and while LA has said it doesn’t plan on trading Mark Trumbo some consider him to be available for the right pitcher.
