The Milwaukee Brewers have signed infielder Donnie Murphy to a minor league contract, reports Adam McCalvy of MLB.com:

Murphy’s new contract with the Brewers includes an invitation to major league spring training.
Murphy has spent the past three seasons as a member of the Miami Marlins. He hit .216/281/.379 with six doubles, two triples and three home runs over 116 at-bats last season. In his three seasons with the Marlins the 29-year-old has hit .222/.277/.413.
Murphy also spent time in the Marlins’ minor league system last year. Over 123 at-bats with Miami’s high- and Triple-A affiliates he hit .309/.392/.724 with seven doubles, one triple and 14 home runs. Over 11 seasons at the minor league level Murphy owns a career line of .279/.347/.461.
