The corner outfielder played for the Reds in 2012, earning $2 million. He was signed as a free agent after being let go by Pittsburgh after the 2011 season.
In 2012, he batted .275/.346/.531, hitting in the hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark. The 34-year old posted his second best single season slugging percentage of his career, only after his 2008 campaign in which Ludwick slugged a robust .591.
Ludwick has yet to respond to the offer publicly.
