Winter Meetings roundup: NL West

A recap of all the NL West action at day one of the winter meetings.

With the first 24-hours in the books, the NL West is off to a solid start. Two important re-signs and plenty of rumors made day one an exciting one for the division.

There is a lot of buzz coming from the West Coast, especially from the deep pockets in Los Angeles. The Giants got off to a quick start -- and the Padres,Diamondbacks, and Rockies may make waves as well -- but the Dodgers still seem the most likely to pull off a really big move. It will be exciting to see how it all develops over the next two days.
