The Cleveland Indians continue to pursue outfielder Nick Swisher and corner infielder Kevin Youkilis, according to Jim Bowden of ESPN and Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
Indians hoping to sign Nick Swisher for 4yrs $48-$50m...but market shift has him looking for 4yrs $60m

I checked on the report of the 2-year, $18M Tribe offer to Youk. It could be a little higher than $18M for 2.

While the Indians were initially hoping to sign Swisher to a four-year contract in the $50 million range, a recent "market shift" has him seeking $60 million over four years, according to Bowden.
Meanwhile, Cleveland continues to target Youkilis, who reportedly has multiple two-year offers on the table. The Indians are one of the teams that have offered the corner infielder a contract, and Pluto says it could be higher than $18 million over two years.
Swisher hit .272/.364/.473 with 36 doubles and 24 home runs over 537 at-bats for the New York Yankees last season. The 32-year-old owns a career line of .256/.361/.467 over nine years at the major league level.
Youkilis, who owns a career line of .283/.384/.482, hit a combined .235/.336/.409 with 15 doubles and 19 home runs with the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox last season.
