• Blake DeWitt Accepts Minor League Assignment - MLB Daily Dish
  Carrie Muskat from MLB.com reports that Blake DeWitt accepted a minor league assignment, being outrighted to Triple A after he was designated for assignment last week. DeWitt is in Chicago Cubs camp as a non roster invitee.
• Oakland Athletics, Manny Ramirez Sign Minor League Deal - MLB Daily Dish
  The Oakland Athletics have signed Manny Ramirez to a minor-league deal, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com. The signing has been rumored for some time now.
• Cubs Send Chris Carpenter to Red Sox for Theo Compensation - MLB Daily Dish
  The Chicago Cubs are sending right handed middle reliever Chris Carpenter to the Boston Red Sox to compensate for Theo Epstein, according to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune. The deal, which includes a player-to-be-named-later, is now confirmed by numerous sources.

• New York Yankees Sign Raul Ibanez - MLB Daily Dish
  The New York Yankees have officially announced agreement of a one-year, $1.1 million contract with outfielder Raul Ibanez. The deal was first reported by ESPN's Buster Olney, and it could potentially be worth up to $4 million if Ibanez manages to reach all of his performance incentives.
• Cleveland Indians to Sign Cristian Guzman - MLB Daily Dish
  The Cleveland Indians are set to sign infielder Cristian Guzman, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. The deal is a minor league contract and includes an invitation to Spring Training.
• Rangers Acquire Kelvin De La Cruz from Indians - MLB Daily Dish
  The Cleveland Indians have traded Kelvin De La Cruz to the Texas Rangers, according to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. De La Cruz is the the left-handed pitcher the Indians DFA'd to make room for the recent Casey Kotchman signing.
• New York Yankees Sign Eric Chavez - MLB Daily Dish
  The New York Yankees have signed third baseman Eric Chavez to a one-year major league deal valued at $900K with performance bonuses. Jon Heyman of CBS Sports was first on the signing with FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reporting the salary figures. The move was expected by many and it was all but certain after the Yankees dealt starting pitcher A.J. Burnett to Pittsburgh.
• Blue Jays, Rick Vandenhurk Agree to Deal - MLB Daily Dish
  The Toronto Blue Jays have signed right-handed pitcher Rick Vandenhurk to a non-guaranteed split Major League contract, according to the team. Vandenhurk was released by the Baltimore Orioles to make room for Wilson Betemit.
• Jon Garland Out as Indians Starting Option - MLB Daily Dish
  Jon Garland is out as a starting option for the Cleveland Indians, according to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Garland was scheduled to take the team physical on Monday, but he didn't take it, preventing his minor league contract from being finalized.
• Angels Sign Jason Isringhausen - MLB Daily Dish
  According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed right-handed reliever Jason Isringhausen to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training camp. The 39-year-old reliever told Adam Rubin of ESPN back in September he planned on playing in 2012.
• Dodgers Claim Matt Angle Off Waivers - MLB Daily Dish
  The Los Angeles Dodgers have claimed Matt Angle off of waivers from the Baltimore Orioles, according to Steve Melewski of MASNsports.com. The Dodgers are confirming the news and adding that Rubby De La Rosa was moved to the 60-day disabled list to make room for Angle, who was designated for assignment as the corresponding move to the Luis Ayala addition in Baltimore a couple weeks ago.
• Ryan Braun Wins Appeal; No Suspension - MLB Daily Dish
  Wow. Ryan Braun has won his appeal and will not be suspended, for 50-games or otherwise, according to Tom Haudricourt. This is undoubtedly huge news, considering both the stature of MVP-winning Ryan Braun and the varied (and some ugly) reactions throughout MLB. Braun is the first player to have a suspension overturned.
• Nationals, Ryan Zimmerman Agree To Extension - MLB Daily Dish
  The Washington Nationals and third baseman Ryan Zimmerman have agreed to a six-year, $100 million extension with a full no-trade clause and a club option for $24 million, the club announced this afternoon.
• New York Yankees Outright Chris Dickerson To Triple-A - MLB Daily Dish
  The New York Yankees outrighted outfielder Chris Dickerson to Class Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre today, the club announced in a press release (via Wallace Matthews of ESPN New York).
