Royals Acquire Humberto Quintero, Jason Bourgeois

The Kansas City Royals acquired catcher Humberto Quintero and outfielder Jason Bourgeois from the Houston Astros today, in exchange for left-handed relief prospect Kevin Chapman and a player to be named later. According to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com, Astros General Manger Jeff Luhnow called the PTBNL the "key component" of the deal. Ken Rosenthal tweets that Kansas City is still looking for catching depth at the Triple-A level after the trade.
