The Cincinnati Reds and southpaw pitcher Sean Marshall have agreed to a three-year, $16.5 million extension that runs through 2015, the club announced today. According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, Marshall can earn an additional $2 million in performance bonuses each year. -

The Kansas City Royals and right-handed pitcher Vin Mazzaro have agreed to a one-year, $490,875 deal for 2012, reports Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star. The club announced the deal via Twitter earlier in the day.

Baltimore Orioles Sign Josh Banks - MLB Daily Dish
The Baltimore Orioles and pitcher Josh Banks have agreed to a minor league contract, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers were also among the teams showing interest in the 29-year-old pitcher before his new deal was agreed upon. -
