- Yahoo! Sports reports that the Red Sox have signed minor league outfielders Jason Repko and Josh Kroeger. Repko played last season with the Minnesota Twins while Kroeger was a part of the Miami Marlins organization.
- Alex Speier from WEEI says that starting pitcher Carlos Silva has shoulder inflammation and will no longer compete for a spot in the rotation, making them now have six candidates for the fourth and fifth spots.
