  Orioles outfielder Adam Jones has been bothered by right wrist soreness for the last few weeks and will stay in Florida to get an MRI on the area during the team’s off day on Monday.

• Mauer injures right thumb | Twinsbaseball.com
  Joe Mauer left Sunday's 6-3 victory over the Indians with a mild right thumb sprain and is listed as day to day.

• Niese pulled after six with rapid heartbeat | ESPN New York
  New York Mets left-hander Jon Niese was pulled from Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals after tossing six scoreless innings as a precaution because he experienced a rapid heartbeat during the game. It was the same issue that forced Niese from a game last season at Texas as well.
