MLB Draft: First Round Results

The Houston Astros surprised many by taking high school shortstop Carlos Correa with the first pick of the 2012 draft. Predicted number one pick Mark Appel, the Stanford right-hander, fell all the way to the Pittsburgh Pirates at number eight.
