The Minnesota Twins have reinstated first baseman Justin Morneau from the paternity list, reports Judd Zulgad of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities:

Morneau last appeared for the Twins on Friday before leaving the team to join his wife. The pair welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world on Saturday evening:

Over 285 at-bats this season, Morneau has posted a line of .249/.312/.432 with 17 doubles, 11 home runs and 40 RBIs.

Parmelee, 24, has appeared in 39 games this season for the Twins. Over his 107 at-bats, he’s hit at a clip of .206/.286/.327 with eight extra-base hits.
